I would like to hear more about the Lakemaster Autochart. Specifically, can you supplement a current Lakemaster map or overlay the data onto a current map? What will the price be? I think this looks like truly revolutionary tech for many people who fish uncharted waters. Looks much more accessible than previous mapping tech.

Also, I would love to see more info/picture of the new Abu Garcia round reels. Specifically, what will the new price be?

Thanks, any of this info would be great.

WOW what a great idea, buy one handle section and then U could buy different tops in different lengths and different power.

The 7.1:1 gears won't have alot of cranking power but the large dia spool in 7.1:1 could have a very fast line pickup for topwater, maybe as much as 40" ????
The 5.1:1 gears only come in RT Hand
Lefty also comes in the 6.3:1 gears.

Doesn't make sense, you'd still have 1 rod. If you wanted to switch tips, you'd have to cut line, thread the hoops, and retie. Not convenient. I'd just buy 2 rods.....

I was wondering the same thing when I saw those. Very cool. A muskie bait would provide a lot more space to show a ball of little shad.

Your arm is going to fall off by the end of one day of fishing. If your looking for speed and power I'd go for the Curado 300 EJ w/ 6.9:1. Good for top water. Buchertails, spinnerbaits, etc. Pretty good for jerk baits too with the fast line retrieve.

It's for big rubber and cranks. Curado can't handle either. I want the fastest line pick up for left hand.

are the two piece premier rods being added to the series or are they replacing the current models? Some of us still want a one piece rod...

Suit yourself. Your going to get speed but lose power. I personally own 2 300 ej's. One on my 9' extra heavy fast, one 8' heavy fast. Versatile and durable reels.

Added. Looks like the triple X is being discontinued though, so snatch them up while you can

Two piece rods are the way to go. Ferrules are not an issue with fish under 150lbs. The muske is not a tuna..
