E, I don't know if the color really matters much as long as it's black. Allthough black might also work as long as it is black enough. Maybe I could be convinced to throw black but I don't know for sure. Ok, Ok, you made a believer out of me.....black may work afterall.




Maybe with a little orange thrown in on the end.




Black and blue could be tried as well.

What about a totally contrasting color such as white or pink? Any watertime with colors such as those? I know the bass like them.

I am the proud owner of a tampon colored bulldawg, (my memento of the cave outing), and I will say this, it doesn't seem to work worth a darn.

I like what they said above, It doesnt matter what color it is as long as its Purple... Best color, I have used for bass. Maybe muskies will like it?

Why note a contrasting colored creature? I use a giant Johnson spoon with a 9" Sluggo trailer in brown over white. The back and forth action/flash of the spoon is complimented by the contrast of brown and white as the trailer rocks back and forth. Just a thought.....
