How is the 300ej for an all around reel, using it for jerks, cranks, twitch, topwater? Going to have a different reel for big blades/rubber.

Awesome. I use mine for small bucktails, jerk baits, glide baits, and topwater and the reel is sweet! Any bait that pulls real hard like a large crank or a big bucktail you will probably want to avoid, but for most else you can't go wrong. Some real good deals on here and Ebay recently for them.

Great reel for the applications you've mentioned.

Reel picks up a lot of line. Perfect for jerks and walk-the dog topwaters.
