Howdy....when using a Bondy bait what would be the better reel.......Garcia 7000i....toro winch.....or regular toro 5.4?.......I have a TI XXH 8' that I'll be pairing the reel with......I'll be throwing 8oz. bulldawgs and super D's with the set up too.....thanks for your advice.

They do not pull hard. You do not need the 7000 for sure. The 5.4 is fine and good for the dawgs and super d's too.

Either reel will do. If you'll be vertical jigging then I'd go with the reel that has dual anti-reverse as I have blown out a Abu C4 while jigging. Also, if you're vertical jigging the XXH is WAY TO STIFF for jigging & you'll lose a lot of fish with it. A heavy powered rod works best for vertical jigging Bondy Baits.
