Posts: 26 | Ok guys, i have the 1,456,765,601 post asking about what reel i need (i suppose i should have read some if thise other threads). Anyway im looking for a real with the following qualifications, please let me know if one exists. I want to cast light mepps musky killers or the mepps #5s I will also use it for small cranks Seldom use it for 10's but will occasionally I would like to use mono line it needs to have a line out clicker/indicator I am trying to avoid spending over $200 Any ideas? Cash reward if it already has a musky attached to it.

Posts: 568 Location: Lake St Clair | Shimano Cardiff 400 is what you need. Like $110 new. Will handle what you asked above. Dont use mono for casting tho, youll want braid with a mono/flouro leader. The 400 has the line out clicker. Ive been using mine for 2 seasons now and its great, not top of the line but i will get the job done.

Posts: 87 | if you could bump it up to $250 or $260 you could get your self a curado 300E or EJ, both of which are awesome reels.
