Posts: 369 | A few weeks ago I was talking about muskies and how even though I was very inexperienced and have tried multiple times to try and catch a muskie, I never had. I also did not have a variety of lures only 1 or 2 that actually qualified for muskie lures one 6 inch rapala and a big tiger tube but I was told not to use that to the fall, below the pictures are from Nolan who sent me some of his lures: #1 is a depth raider #2 is a giant double cowgirl bucktail #3 is a bulldawg, it's a really cool color #4 is a black jerkbait #6 which should be five is a smaller double cowgirl Thank you Nolan for sending me these and I will be using them this summer, I really appreciate it! Posts: 192 | Learning how each type of lures action is different should be your first goal. Then figure out what makes a bait a high quality and durable so you don't waste money on lesser lures that will catch fish but are compromised by cheap wire or bad paint jobs that don't last. My Favorites Crank bait-Hammer Lures Twitchers and small jerk baits-Fishall Lures Bucktails-Crazy D double 8's, Cowgirls are made to last as well Spinner baits-Esox customs Topwater-American hardwood mini or non foil top-raider Plastic-Hardhead but you cant go wrong with a bulldog Gliders-Warlock, Hoosier handmade, Cobbs all work great What i'll usually do is by a light and a dark color pattern and then its all up to the fish | ||
