hi everyone !! i was wondering what kind of stainless wire do i need to make my own Jerkbait leader ? i was thinking .35 could be the good size of wire i need ...

I 'm not sure of the diameter, but if you get wire with at least 174 lb. rating you'll be okay.

Yes, 174lb or a little larger is okay. That diameter is .029 to .035 in I use a wire with loops on each end - no swivel or snaps on my jerkbait leader. I place a split ring on each bait I own and attach a looped end to that. If you find that the wire likes to snake out, then tie one with a small loop on one end and a solid ring on the other. Use the solid ring to attach to the split on the bait.
