I was down to 225 lbs from 270 lbs on a 6 ft frame,but just thinking about the grilled Prime Rib that I will be cooking on the water at Cave Run MuskieFirst Outing(North Old Folks Group staying at the Discomfort Inn), has me out testing for the best taste.I could be back to 250 lbs by then.Don't worry Sponge I have a "C" Ration can of Ham -N- Mothers for you!

Since I was part of the group that started this idea, I guess I'm in.....
1. was at a whopping 260 about a year and a half ago (only 6' [barely])
2. down to 210 now.
3. will get down to 190
*havent weighed that in 10 years....
**tried out for volleyball in college at 185
***boxed at 190.
God help me, i know where i can lose 15lbs, but the other 5, no idea where they are going to come from. Just finished a piece of bday cake, super diet starts NOW!

Just a little note guys...
theres only 3 ways to lose weight:
1)muscle
2)water
3)fat
#3 is the only healthy way. If your losing more then 2Ibs a week its potentially dangerous. Someone above mentioned a list of very good tips. Definately eat numerous small meals. When you eat 2-3 meals a day, your body goes into starvation mode, not knowing if its going to get food, slowing down your metabolism, making any food you eat fat. The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories then you eat. Those miracle diets are dangerous. Ephedra is potentially dangerous if you use it stupidly (obvious). I use a 5 day low/no carb diet (HIGH protein/fat, no sat. fat) and eat all I want the next two days, then 5 days low/no carb, etc, etc. I weigh in at about 190Ibs, at about 8% body fat (around 11% is where those abs start coming in). I gain muscle on this and lose fat on this diet, hovering around 190. If your interested in losing weight, just control the calories. Once again, 6 small meals. Don't let yourself go hungry. Don't skip meals (was that Beaver[:)] who mentioned skipping lunch ). If you guys want me to set you up with a lifting/jogging plan or one or the other, I can give you my e-mail and you can send me your the times your free to exercise and your goals.
