| For those of us who are bringing thier own Boat to the Sabaskong Outing are there any special regulation or equipment requirements that we should be aware of?
I know it's early but I want to make sure I have everything I need.

| I think you need to have to have a whistle to go along with your horn, also I know for sure you need a throwable life perserve device (floating cushion that is certified will do) attached to at least a 100 ft of rope. I would also checkout the previous posts metion of website. Al[:0] |

As far as I know the licensing requirements are for Canadian citizens only. This from the Canadian coast guard site regarding the licensing requirements. "Foreign boats visiting Canada for less than 45 consecutive days are exempt."
But here's the things the O.P.P. will be checking for, and these are requirements for anyone boating in Canada as far as I know.
You'll need the following:
Life jackets (CC aproved) of the prober size for all on board.
A bailing devise (a bucket), but a bilge pump that works is fine.
A whisle or horn.
A floating rope (15 meters), about 50'.
A watertight flashlight
A paddle or oar, or an anchor
A fire extinguisher, if you have a built-in tank
plus navagation lights that work.
The ones most people wouldn't have are the floating rope, and a waterproof flashlite. These are for boats up about 20', there is a little change for bigger boats, but if you have the above it looks like you are O.K.

| Thanks Guys this is just what I was looking for, I will need to do some minor shopping as I already have most of the stuff, need whistle,floating rope,throwable cusion other than that I'm good to go.
