looking to make a lure dryer again. This time I'm looking to beef it up a little. I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding a good gear motor that I can add a rheostate. Looking for something that is high torque and low RPM. I would like something better than these stupid rotisserie motors. I don't like the play they have and I seem to burn them up. I don't want to break the bank either. Thanks for your help!

How many baits are you thinking about doing at one time?? Ive been using a 5-7 rpm motor from a microwave for 12 years already. They are totally quiet. The only thing is they aren't all that powerful so you need to have the load balanced out. Small baits I can do 20 on one dryer and 21 on the other one. If they are the real big baits then I only put 7-14 on at a time. You have to make sure its a 110 volt motor. They are all kinds of voltages but they usually are marked. Any question pm or email me and I'll see if I can help you out. Ken
