| I see a used one for sale. Any thoughts regarding this motor? I am especially interested in fuel economy and durability. I would be replacing a 2004 135hp Merc Opti on a lund 1850 tyee.
Appreciate any and all thoughts. |

| Not the same motor, but i have an 2010 ETec 115 HO and it has been a solid motor for me. Has 365 hours over 3 seasons, have had zero issues. Be sure to have the particular motor you are looking at hooked up to a computer so you can get all the usual diagnostics run. I run my motor around 4200 RPM when cruising, rarely kick it to max RPM, so I would gather that most of my hours are either trolling at low RPM or cruising at 4200. Again, no issues. From a durability standpoint, I hope that helps.

| I have a 2008 150 with 1300 hours and zero issues other than normal maintenance...(plugs, lower unit oil, etc). Winterizing is a breeze. Very solid motor and loads of torque. Like stated above just have him get you a current print out of hours and engine diagnostics and you should be golden. |

Location: St Paul | Another 2008 E-Tec 150 that has been issue free. Only the normal 3 year maintenence for me. Check into the warranty on the motor, as my 2008 had a 5 year transferable warranty when i bought my Boat used in 2009. Fuel economy is good as well.
