Do they roll with such a big tail? Any weight needed to help them run true? Thanks for any insight, they look cool.

From the looks of the ones i have they would run perfect. I would guess no weight needed to run them true as they seem to be balanced perfectly. But i won't know until muskie season is upon us!

Thanks, was wondering if the tail would steer it, will have to go out and cast it a few times.

I haven't used the Alpha Dawgs from the store. But in my experience with tail up-sizing, it usually helps them run MORE true (yes, tail steers it) without affecting the running depth a whole lot AND increasing the thump. Cool product.
