I had this interesting vinyl simulated burl material I wanted to try for siding on a Molly. Unfortunately you need a large surface area to display the burl pattern to best effect, and between the size restriction and two layers of epoxy the intricate burl pattern virtually disappeared. So I resorted to putting some tiger stripes on it and consigned it to my failed siding ideas bin.

May not have matched the image in your mind, but to put that in any bin labeled "failed" would be an injustice. That is a great looking bait and you can't go wrong with the Molly for action. Give is one season and it will need to be refinished due to teeth marks

I like your "failed siding ideas bin" better then my "perfect, flawless, I paid way too much lure bin" LOL Very nice work.
