Trying to decide if I should make the Midge get his boat ready for the Chicago show.

Hey Steve,

I would think so. I am down here in southern Illinois, about 2.5 hours south of Shelbyville, and it has been pretty warm overall. Kinkaid is wide open, as well as most of the little ponds around here too.

The lake is open but why bother?!? Hit the spillway instead! (see my post in fishing reports)

South end of the lake, in town. I talked to a DNR guy while I was there in Oct. and he told me the bigger fish are in the spillway (up to a mile down from the dam)and not in the lake .
