Thought you guys might like this. Minnesota Bound did a segment on me and my baits...check it out at http://mnbound.com/watch-mn-bound/?currentPage=4 Its the third segment in episode #633 "Michigan Musky Man". You have to scroll down a ways to find the episode. The funny thing is I had a couple of Vince's baits hanging on my wall and they got in the video too....anyway,it was fun doing it.The first two segments are cool also, both done on friends of mine from up here.

Thanks guys for the comments. It was fun doing it, and the funny thing was we had been hammering the musky all week and then when I took those guys out we didn't get one...go figure?? I have to give thanks to my bud and great walleye guide Harold Bailey for turning these guys on to me. He was the first guy in the segment about Sugar Island. They came up here to do a segment on him and the St. Mary's River since he is a local legend but they wanted to do a Musky segment also so he told them about me.

Your buddy is not the only legend. Your baits and the fish they catch are too.

Congratulations, Rod!

cool segment for some reason i though you would be younger. but seems like if you have not been able to shake the lure making addiction it seems like i have no hope lol which is great news, being a lure addict rules

That was a great segment. I do have one "rookie" question: how do you keep your jointed baits from "hinging" or swinging around during the painting process? They were as stiff as a non-jointed lure.
