Hey Guys,

I just spooled up my tranx with mono backing and 80lb power pro and it seems like it is spinning on the spool. I can just reel and reel and there is no line being picked up. The levelwind goes back and forth but no gain on the line.

Anybody have this happen?

What to do about it?

Maybe your knot broke tying the brad to the mono?

Try to ad a turn of electrical tape to The spool before you apply The Line.
