Posts: 500 Location: Ludington, MI | According to the Michigan DNR stocking page, Campau and Murray have been stocked with muskies. Also Thornapple Lake. I have not fished them, but they were all mentioned in the Q&A session after Will Schultz's lecture at the Ultimate Sport Show yesterday. Hope that helps.

Posts: 717 Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Best? Depends what you're looking for. Looking for a 45lber? Macatawa. Murray and Campau can be great action lakes. Murray is clear, Campau it's stained. Murray is deep, Campau, shallow. They both hold 30lbers. I wouldn't say one it's better than the other. Just depends what kind of mood you're in.

Posts: 131 Location: Lake St. Clair | thats a good bit of info. I dont live very far from any of those lakes. I primarily fish St. Clair but those are some good options for a free evening after work!

Posts: 131 Location: Lake St. Clair | Has anybody fished these lakes lately and have any info on them? Looking to hit one of them tonight or tomorrow morning before the weekend boaters get crazy. I have never fished any of these lakes even though they are all withing a half hour of me. Too much time spent on St. Clair, but since we cant fish there yet and I have some free time for once, why not go fishin!
