Location: Eau Claire,WI | My favorite topwater bait! Markowicz, Best American Globe and LeLure are great to have. The new Dingbat ,(show specail ?) by Big Momma baits looks to be a new one for my arsenal too. If you prefer a fast moving globe then the BS Wiley is the way to go. The slower you retrieve the globe, blades just clicking, the more fish you will catch and in my experience, the better hook ups and strikes. I don't even watch the lure most times,I listen to the blades, when they stop,I set the hook. That is a sign of a good ,properly tuned globe! Put one on,fish it slow and HANG ON!!!! |

| I really like the LeLure Globe as well as Black River Bait Co. Top Shelf. The Top Shelf has bucktail on the rear treble hook, causing the bait to sit slightly tail down. They said it gives them better hookups. I also like the bait because it creates a forward "spray" with a nice high pitch sound. |
