Shep,
I own a 1700 Angler SS as you do...I believe. If your boat is a 2001 or earlier, did you carpet the freeboard area of the front deck before you installed your RigRite cargo nets? (if its a 2002, I guess you didn't have to worry about it)

Nope, it's a 2002, so you are right, I didn't have to worry about it. I probably would have carpeted it though, if it wasn't. I got some extra carpet from Lund through my dealer. I'm going to use it to build a removeable rear deck extension for when DaveJ fishes with me.[:praise:]

I've got the 2001 so I will be doing some carpeting. I too was going to build a removable deck in the back end of my Angler.
