Posts: 258 Location: Mayville, WI | The MN DNR has a fairly good site for aquatic plants - follow the links on the left for information by species: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/shorelandmgmt/apg/index.html PA has a really nice .pdf guide available online. Though some species may not be found in your region it covers all the most common ones & is one of the better online guides I've found yet: http://pubs.cas.psu.edu/freepubs/pdfs/agrs110.pdf If you're looking for some sit-down book versions, I suggest either "Through the Looking Glass" (a great beginners guide!) or "Aquatic Plants of Wisconsin" by Paul Skawinski - this has excellent photos of each plant and is very comprehensive.
