I haven't built my Rocketshads for quite a while and I've had a few guys asking for them, so I'm going to make a few for 2013.

This is a pattern called Modified Tennessee Shad:

I build this pattern with a number of modifications. It usually has a faint bluish overtone on the back even though it appears to be gold in the photo. This batch has two scale patterns and seven shades of pearl, including green2gold, weed green, purple, blue, silver, white, and a couple I custom mixed.

Nice job Vince. The bait looks like it could swim away.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I really appreciate it. There are so many great builders on this site, so it means a lot.

Here are a few more I recently finished...click on the pics for a larger image:

The first is a 6 inch Fatfingers Flatshad:

This is a glider/jerk in 22 carat gold, green2goldpearl, and green pearl over jet black:

An 8 1/2 Flatshad from cedar done in about 8 different pearls:

4 3/4 in good ol' firetiger:

4 3/4 inch Flatshad in Albino Shad with cobalt blue gill detailing:

About 4 inches, this is a pikie style bait in red metal flake with just a touch of black feathered over the back and belly. This is a countdown bait, which can be cast or trolled:

A prototype which I just completed. Haven't named it yet, but I'll be building a couple of these for the guys who want them and are on my mailing list. This 6 inch jerkbait is done in a flip/flop (an unbelievably expensive paint) which turns from deep blue to purple to a dark cherry as the bait moves in the light. I shot a few quick pics without the hooks to try to capture the colors with the camera with just the indoor lighting:

Hope you like em.
