| I wonder if the economy will thin the field down any this year.

Posts: 512 Location: Appleton | I'm not positive the economy is any worse this year than last year. I think it would be safe to say the turnout will be close to last year. I'd say a wet spring would have more of an impact than anything but that's just my opinion. |

| I think we are actually well on the way out of the economic slowdown. The return of the stock market to pre-recession levels is a good indication. Unemployment is still a serious problem but getting better. I actually think the number of those fishing the "Cave" will rise by 15-20%. And, let's face it, Cave Run is not just a tournament, it's an early taste of summer for us "Yankees" who are often still sitting in cold weather. I wouldn't miss it! |

Posts: 41 Location: PA | How many teams fished Cave Run last year? Have not fished a PMTT event since 2003. Much larger fields then. Really thinking about doing the Cave this year. |

Posts: 40 Location: Cave Run, KY | I'm in! 4yr doing this, haven't put a fish on the board. Just something about this gets me fired up. Spring at the cave, partenering with my son against the best in the world or just the site of all those fancy jerseys in one room that these guys wear? Just gotta to save $2 a day for the year and its no biggie! |
