Really nice to find a store dedicated to musky and walleye fishing. They were very helpful seeing I'm new to musky fishing. Stocked to the gills with everything you need for the beginner and experienced angler. My dad and I went there yesterday and Andy and Jason spent hours with us helping us pick equipment and lures. I ended up getting a musky innovations rod for pounders. It's the monster magnum rated 8-40oz lures. Great prices and great guys. I'll do all my shopping there seeing they are only 30 minutes from my house. Can't wait to go back.

Jason runs a great shop. The way he does things and the vision he has for it, he's only going to get bigger and bigger. He carries the "good" stuff and his customer service is top notch. I'm to the point now where I just text him and let him know what I want and he takes care of it.

Can't turn back now. Had a ball catching smallies and perch last year, but can't wait to land my first musky. Just trying to get used to $20 and up lures lol. I've been flying Rc helicopters which cost upwards of $2000 to build one. So I'm used to spending lots for hobbies. My Tranx 500hg cost as much as one component for my heli. I was fortunate to meet Bob Brunner while there as well. Bought a couple of his Brunner Runner bucktails as well as picking his brain a little for musky intel. Can't wait til the weather breaks to try and land one of those lake st. Clair monsters. This is one hobby I'm sure to love spending time with my recently retired dad and my two sons. Can't wait.

Jason is TOP NOTCH! He is an honest guy and will treat you right... I am plugging the owner, not the shop... That hopefully says it all.

I agree 100%. We stopped in there last June and Jason was extremely helpful to us as we were newbies on LSC. He helped us tremendously with Lake info, all the requirements to cross into Canadian waters and so forth. Awesome selection of baits also. Can't beat that kind of service. Takes good care of his customers. A++++ Musky Shop!!!!

I hope someone does. If anyone can do it I'm sure Jason could get it going. The place in Monroe that the show was held at in 2011 & 2012 cost $12K to rent out from what I was told by the guy that runs the Michigan-Ohio fishing show out of there.

Got to know Jason before he opened the shop, he knows the lake he knows how to fish and what works. He is constantly working to make the shop better. Him and Andy do nice nice custom work also.

Well I just had to go back and purchased an Okuma c3-40x rod for smaller bait. It's 7'11" xh rated 2-8oz and is so light. I'm going to pair it with a revo 60hs and should make for a great combo for my kids and my dad. I really like the handle which is like my bass rods and I believe it can be used all day effortlessly. Can't wait to try it out.

Jason closed up the Michigan Musky Shop & the Amish furniture stores to move down to Alabama to be closer to his wife's family or something like that.
