| I have one and have tried it but think it is not heavy enough. I'm currently using a TIxxh and love it. I'm sure there are guys here who will say they are throwing pounders with teh Nasty but I don't.

| I p/u a Big nasty last year. It worked well for pounders. That is about the max end of its range but it slings them out there nicely. I used it this fall interchangeably with my Thorne Bros XH Predator. The Pred is a little beefier but they both work awesome.
From what I remeber Mike Hulbert wrote inMusky Hunter this fall that the Big Nasty was his go to rod for big rubber. Hard pressed to find a guy that chucks more rubber than Mike so that's probably as good of an endorsement as you are going to get... |

Location: central illinois | In my opinion it is the best Mag Dawg rod I have used. You can do Pounders but I would get a Big Dawg, TI Mega Heavy, or a MI Super Magnum for Pounders. |

Location: Hudson,WI | Yeah, I didn't get a chance to use mine for throwing rubber, because my big dawg was the go to rod for rubber. However this year I'm going to use the Nasty for rubber. I'm not sure about pounders, but for mag dawgs and dussas I don't think there's goint to be a better rod. |
