| Do any tournaments have a minimum size livewell requirement? I'm curious if this is a consideration in purchasing a boat since normally we don't even use a livewell. |

| Times have clearly changed since transport has left the building, and sometimes I wish my 50 inch live well was another dry storage. Then there are those unique days when I believe I have successfully revived a fish from certain doom, often not even a fish from my boat. A big live well with a good oxygenating pump and the addition of oxy-boosting crystals can seem to almost call Lazarus from the tomb. Mostly, for me now however, it's just a place to keep my suckers in the fall . |

Location: Eastern Ontario | My livewell is plugged off at the back of the boat and it is filled with2.5 inch downspout it has become my tackle box.
Technically in Ontario a fish under the min. size limit must be released immediately (all muskies on a conservation license ) A lot of areas this min is over 50 inched. Also technically a fish over the min size limit when placed in a live well is considered a kept fish and your day would be done. Even though your intention is just to revive a fish each CO would interpret and lay charges as HE saw fit. I know 3 CO's that have said they would lay the charge and one who wouldn't say he wouldn't. However they are spread so thin the chances of getting caught are remote.
