Brad P - 1/23/2013 1:58 PM The best thing about this thread for me is that there are at least 3 guys who have posted that fish my home lake as much or more than I do and they all have different lures and colors listed. Just goes to show you, that if/and/or when the conditions are right and the fish are going...most likely, all it takes is: 1. A wet bait 2. A wet bait 3. A wet bait 4. A wet bait 5. A wet bait 6. A wet bait 7. A wet bait 8. A wet bait 9. A wet bait 10. A wet bait Might not matter the make, model, brand, size, color bait, etc. Now...granted...there's a lot of variables that come in to play. And for when those conditions aren't so perfect, then it might take the confidence baits that people like the best for themselves. What works for one person, doesn't always work for all....

However I wud like to think that it is not necessarily a wet bait, but the technique of the fisherman and their talents...

Posts: 833 | You are Fat, but GUEST has it right, there are days where it doesn't matter. (that guest's writing style sounds very familiar...) I was out with a certain musky guru one day this summer where we got 3 fish in 10 minutes on 3 different baits, one of which was a aforementioned musky guru's frankensteinthingamajiggerdoohickey creation if I am remembering correctly.
