Hi guys.

I noticed that there is an option to "view revisions" on a post that had been edited by the author of the post. When I clicked on it, I found the original post before the edits.

My questions are: Why is that there and what use is it? If someone decides to edit their post for whatever reason, it seems pointless to do so because other users still see the original. So why edit if the revisions are going to be visible?

Thanks,
Jono

(just testing for revision list)

Now that I look at this a little more....

The post I was referring to was made by JLong. Since he has moderator status perhaps that is why his revisions appear.

I made an edit to my orginal post here and see that "view revisions" is not an option with my post as simple humble member!

Anyway, was curious how this worked just the same.

Shep, I'm not mad at ya! LOL!

If you edit it within a certain amount of time of making the original post, it is not considered a revision.
