I am looking into getting one and was wondering what everyones thoughts are on them. Any thoughts are welcome.

The B is a great all around reel. If taken care of, it will last for a long time. Hopefully shimano continues to make them for years to come.

I have this reel and like it. Pikemaster tunned and lubed it for me and it made a big difference. It is just a good all around reel for me but have other reels for specific types of lures (revo toro hs for topwater, small bucktails, and gliders).

Agree with the others as it is a nice all around reel. Have had no issues with most baits but wouldn't reccomend as a top water set up as it doesn't pick up enough line.
