| Lots of options on Cass at that time but weather can be spotty, be prepared for everything from hot/calm to wind and hail. You won't have to worry about turnover. Allens bay has a lot of weeds and structure, so does wishbone bar just to the east of Allens. Other guys prefer to work the sharp sand breaks in the main lake, usually with smaller faster bucktails but topwater and jerkbaits like bobbies and suicks can be good too. Bullrushes are worth a check that time of the year. Cover a ton of water your first day or two. All natural fish in Cass so they're not as dumb as normal but like everywhere you'll get your chances if you stick with it.

Location: Minnesota | Clear water with tons of structure - it is a good choice. |

Location: Kansas City BBQ Capitol of the world | I'm no expert on Cass but have fished it a few times. Like Guest said fishing Allens bay is a great start.. About half way down it to the East you will see a big reed patch. Hit the reeds and come off the reed point about 120 ft and head East at about 1 o'clock and follow the weeds bed to the East. In the main lake or what I call the Big water, go through the narrows going West. As you come through the narrows you will see the lake open up. Hit that South point before them Reeds about 100ft out. There is a huge bar called Dead mans that Guest mentioned. Off of that bar to the North in around 13 feet of water there are some huge boulders and rock that hold fish. South of Dead mans along the South shore line is weeds as well. When I go fishing I like some help and assistance as we spend allot of money doing it. I can tell you were I have caught fish., so I hope this helps.
Good luck
Ron
