The video shows how she dances.

It is on the front page of www.Jomusky.us

thanks for the link, jo...what's all the hype, and i'm a lure junkie?

do you crank the lure down to desired depth, then twitch it? or does it stay down and or dive everytime you give it a twitch since it has a diving lip on it? how good does it walk the dog, does it make a right, left, right, left swing w/ every twitch like gliders? these are prob all questions that have answered before, but trying to inform myself.
i suppose it floats, then you crank it down? or does it sink?

Let me help out here. The Trip D can be worked in a myriad of ways. Keep in mind, it is only a 5 second film! I have put quite a bit of time in soaking Triple D’s. Here’s what I have found:

You can crank it down to depth slack snap it and walk the dog like a quick hopped Phantom. With a very consistent side to side action.

You can also give it more deliberate pulls and get a true erratic action much like a Reef Hawg. Up, down, sideways, and everywhere in between.

Give it hard, deliberate “rips” or double pumps mid-retrieve and you will see a darting action unlike any production crankbait you have ever seen. Controllable horizontal swings of 2-3 feet.

On top of the aforementioned, it is NEUTRALLY BOUYANT. On the pause, the bait has a very subtle strike triggering action, which may or may not be seen in the video footage. You can pause this bait, park it for 5 seconds or more and get drilled by a skee as the bait hangs in the strike zone.

You can also use it like any other crankbait, and will perform admirably as such. But use it with imagination, and you will see that never before has a single bait been so versatile. The manufacturing process, and characteristics of the bait are innovative. But, the ability to use a single bait so many different ways during a single retrieve is truly REVOLUTIONARY.

But, you really have to tie one on to truly appreciate it!

I haven't heard of a bait getting a guys nipples hard since Sheldons brought the first Mepps back from overseas. The hype has reached a new feverish high. I hope the line isn't too long in Chicago, and Jason YOU BETTER BRING ENOUGH TO GO AROUND!!!

I concur with mad dog and also note that if you get your cadence right tapping the bait as you reel you can get the bait to keep swinging further and further to the side. This bait is also able to bottom feed by tapping it down on a clean bottom and just moving it along and tearing up silt, really visually impressive. I would imagine anybody fishing gravel bars or rock bars or drops on clean bottoms is gonna have many of these in a couple years.

I also would theorize that the first group of these working their way through the depths of Webster Lake are going to plunder the place.
But that is just a theory I have.[;)]

Another thing I have noted is that these things track surprisingly well at fairly high speed when hung off the side of the boat...

Now two videos. Second one which is Video 1 was requested by JLong himself!
The difference between the action in the two videos is proof enough of how differently the bait can be used.

Thanks Joe for putting up Video 1. That better depicts the lateral moves we are talking about when you give the bait a twitch or pull.

Great video Jo, I can't wait to see the Musky First stuff after watching just the single shots you put up.

Having had experience with the bait, I would say Mad Dawg did an excellent job describing the bait and it's versatility.

The key phrase with the TripleD is "Jerkbait in Disguise!"
