| This was my very first jointed bait I've painted. I got the blanks from James @ Tackle Industries. Let me know what you guys think of it...
In case the pic doesn't load, here's a link to my PB account...

Location: Land of the Musky | I have some guys who paint these up for Bass Pros and they use just a little Play-Doh and then dig it out after the epoxy dries. Any Play-Doh that gets into the joint disintegrates in water. Sounds like a good plan

PS-I still have a lot of the Dingo blanks left for $6 each ($5/blank if you buy 10 or more) if anyone wants a winter project. Lots of fin and tail colors to pick from. [email protected]

I saw the rainbow paint jobs on these baits --- they look awesome. I'm going to have to try my hand at this sometime. I do have a question regarding the Devcon2Ton epoxy that you mentioned -- Do you mix up the equal parts and pour/brush it on and then turn (like Viratex and other epoxies)?
Again, great looking work on these baits, that paint job sure makes it. I fish a few small streams that have a good population of trout swimming through, we always speculate that they make excellent muskie candy.
Thank you for the info.

| Yeah, I brush the D2T on and turn it for about an hour. Thats provably a little longer than necessary, but thats what I do. Also, I do separate batches of epoxy for the front section and the back two. That way I dont have to worry about the pot life as much. |
