Sorry to hear Jay. You've left a mark on the muskie industry. Always great laughs in the boat with ya. Congrats on the deer this fall, and lay the smack down on those slimers this winter!

Too bad. You're films have inspired my pike fishing here in Norway as well. Will have to watch some of them this weekend with a beer or 2.

Jason, best wishes in your future plans. The videos were awesome and whatever the next step turns to be will sure to be great.

Was tough to hear the news but do understand why..... Sure to hook up on the ice or 4th floor this winter.

Best of luck.

Sounds like you guys have things in the right perspective...good luck in all of your endeavors, wherever they lead you. And congratulations on staying friends through it all, that's great.

Are any of the 8 DVD's still available for purchase?

Best of luck, & thanks for always keeping it real.

I thought about using that quote, but didnt think anyone would get it. Sooo sooo fitting. Kind of eerie....

That was a truly classy way to sign off and let your friends and fans know what's going on. Always enjoyed you guys "keeping it real" without stooping to commercialism. Best wishes to the whole Badfish crew.

this is upsetting not gonna lie, wish i could see some more of mark ripping dawgs and his awesome comments haha. Now the question, who will fill the void for the badfish guys and become the new most realistic fun to watch show?

Bummer to hear you guys are shutting it down. Hands down some of the best fisherman I've seen, and the videos showed how it is out there. I've enjoyed watching the videos over the years, and still watch them all every spring.

Hoping to catch up with ya this year for some blast n cast Good luck in the future!

Sad to hear Jason. While I didn't care for the language in the vids I greatly appreciated you guys keeping it real...all the time. Best of luck to the crew on your futures!

J. Sloan,
All I can say is WOW! Your post is inspiring as all hell. It sounds like you have already lived an amazing life as an outdoorsman. Bozeman is also one of my favorite places in the world. I lived there for six years, I moved there for college but the outdoors interfered with college in a way I couldn't control. Snowboarding and sledding everything from the Bridger's and Big Sky to Cook City and almost everything I could access in between. Fishing the Madison and Galliton rivers. Elk, Sheep, and Deer hunting Paradise Valley and the Beartooth Mountains. Montana is truly something special.
I think you have a great opportunity for yourself here. Continue to work hard and enjoy fishing and the outdoors as you like. Go out and get yourself a couple of GoPros and just film your adventors as you see fit. Through your episodes on YouTube and here on the forum (assuming the forum would allow) and create a grass roots following here in the community. I know that wont pay the bills but it could snow ball into something big. And if not at least you could be doing things on your own terms.
Best of luck,
Jake

Hey guys, I remember the feeling I had when I shut down Oneida Esox Guide Service. I thought I was throwing away everything I worked for in terms of musky fishing. Truth is, I knew I had to start working on being a better dad and husband. You guys are doing the right thing.

The dad thing I think I did OK on....me and my 17 year old and 21 year old went and saw Halestorm and In This Moment last Wed.......the husband thing, well Caralyn will have to comment on that. (shes tired of dead animal mounts)

Jason,
Just was paging through the old threads and found this. Over the years we have shared many great memories in my boat. I had alot of laughs and a few really big fish thrown in. I hope that you can still make an occassional trip to MN. Your videos will be missed.
