Most all the spoonpluggers are having multipule fish days using no live bait, "to tooo slow" when there moving, maybe you should try and do what they're doing.

Posts: 688 Location: Northern IL | Johnny, if your talking about Ramono you bet he's a plugger and one of the best you or I ever had the pleasure of knowning... He's exactly the kind that doesn't say much but quietly goes about his biz and gets em and gets what the lake will give up at the time. EA, ,,, let's put it this way..... If your catching em with "med suckers" or bucktails, take a wild guess,,,, your "Spoonplugging" you just haven't figured it out yet...... "And i dont question anyone in particular ir their skills. I question when I talk to alot of people in the area and regardless of experience level not once did I hear of spoonplugging being. The cats pajamas in muskie fishing. Actually quite the opposite. . I also became Leary when obviously spoonplugg maker is saying that's what is putting alot of fish in people's boats. I don't doubt it works what I question is the frequency of success for that particlar method. Must be nice to never slump and always catch fish. Must be nice to enjoy all those fish "guest"...." 2nd, you just haven't talked to the right person yet.... And when you do and your open, (sick of not catching, ha ha") you'll know it! 3rd, I'm not the "maker" and receive no compensation from Buck's Baits but understand the skepticism, np..... It's not, or never has been, about a lure.............. 4th, it is kind of nice........ But even spoonpluggers fish when the weather and or water conditions aren't favorable, ha ha! And 5th, Spoonplugging is NOT, "Trolling"........ So many misconceptions..... of what it takes to catch a fish and why, and this stuff has only been around, and available for 60+ years. Good luck!

Posts: 321 Location: Glen Ellyn Il | I went to the Madison Chain to test some baits I made and while tuning One my 6 inch spoonplugs I made I caught a 45 inch muskie, than later in the day I hooked another good size muskie but after the third head shake it got off, I also caught another 36 incher while anchored and casting a 4 inch blade bait This is what spoonplugging can do spoonpluggergino Edited by spoonpluggergino 12/9/2012 7:22 PM Attachments ---------------- 001.JPG (36KB - 139 downloads) 004.JPG (40KB - 139 downloads) 003.JPG (39KB - 149 downloads)
