My very old Buck is done. The Schrade I have I do not like. I am looking for a good knife with blade that will resharpen for a looooong time.

Suggestions?

Leech Lake Filet Knifes are the bomb...The founder parished a year or two back and I am not sure if they remian in production. Check Reeds Sporting Goods if a Google search does not yield results. They are awesome...

I use the 7" thin blade bubba blade it is a awesome nice holds an edge very well for a long time

Leech lake are the way to go. Best knife for holding a good edge.

That is one sweet looking blade. Love the color on the handle and the leather sheath.

you can get a leech lake knife on ebay for 99 bucks dont know if there worth that much but they had them there

Happy with my Dexter Russell Fillet Knife. Not fancy, just does great job for more then 10 years.

If you cannot locate a leech lake fillet knife, you can find them without the top blade (more like a traditional fillet knife) at the blacksmith shop in Amana Iowa. The company that makes them also sells a different design there. I recognized it quickly by the components, but asked the owner as well just to be sure... I say Leech lake fillet knife all the way...
