You just bought a great bait for the SWAP BOARD. This bait in my opinion is a piece of junk. Yeah, you could obviously catch something on it but I've never even seen a fish caught on it. I'm sure many others will tell you the same.

Hope this helps,

Bass fisherman finds one stuck on a branch in an Ohio lake and decides to tie it on. A few casts later guy lands 53" muskie. You never know.

Had one for a few seasons and no fish or follows, so I started to experiment with it. When I finally got it snagged and broke it off, I didn't bother to replace it. Could it catch fish? I'll never know now.

Work it like a twitch bait over the top of weeds, in pockets, etc. At times it can be a decent bait. Good action...not the greatest hookup, though. I think time and newer improvement in lure design have past this bait by. However, sometimes, when a lure has not been used for a long time, new life seems to be breathed into it. Something different for the fish to see. Make sure the hooks are super sharp and check the connection between the main body and the tail section. (I assume you are talking about the jointed version, not the surface bait.)
