Which should I get? I want to stock up on big baits for fall. Which would be the better overall choice? Any other comments would be appreciated as well!

I find the medussa's much harder to cast as well as retrieve. I think they may be heavier , not sure. I would imagine the fish see less medussa's though.

Get one of each in every color and then buy 5 two pounders. Seriously though, both work and have different approaches. Can't go wrong with either.

Lol believe me I would love to buy like a hundred of each but the problem is I don't have the money for that. I am 17 and don't have a good enough job to pay for that lol. Maybe get like one or 2 medusas and one or two pounder versions of the mega d cuz those are way cheaper than the bulldawgs

And what would the time and place to use either of them be? I've caught fish on my mag super d's but never on the pounder version and haven't gotten a pounder medussa yet. Have the regular and smaller medussa but never have had any luck on those

Here are the baits I would get if I could only buy three:
1 Cisco pounder
1 Black/orange pounder
1 Sucker megadussa

I would get actual pounders as the MegaDs are completely different and do not run straight most of the time. Also, make sure you have the equipment to throw these big baits; any weak link in your system and these baits will find it.

I got a 9ft3 okuma xh rod that's rated up to 16 ounces and I've thrown pounders on that before and it's worked out great!

Oh and has anyone ever used the cowdussas? I have never heard of anyone ever using them and I am wondering if they don't work. They seem like they should work great lol

Look into the Tackle Industries MegaD pounders too. They are tough lures and about half the price plus they have 84 to pick from. MTO has good prices on these for $16.

Both! They are different baits. Medussa's in my opinion run higher in the water column than pounders and don't tend to have as much side to side action as pounders. I would mix and match and let the fish tell you what they want.

Hmm I wonder why he hasn't used the cowdussa since? I have never heard anyone using them a whole lot. If he caught a 48 incher on one they must work! Maybe they are just really difficult to use or pull way too hard. Idk. And thanks for all the help everybody! Really appreciate it!
