Subject: 2003 Wisconsin Opener & Petenwell Flowage

I know its a few months away, but does anyone know when the 2003 Musky opener is in Wisconsin? I'm thinking about making a trip home during that time and would like to work that weekend in with some vacation plans. I would be fishing the Petenwell Flowage. Has anyone had success on the flowage this early in the season? THanks.

Andy, It opens the first weekend in may south of Hwy 10 . Petenwell is south of Hwy 10. If we get a warm spring it can be very good , shallow dark water. Haven't fished in awhile but I know devils elbow is a great place to start and near the dam. Good luck Bryan [:)]
