The weather is sketchy for the Bay of Green Bay today with winds forecast to peak at 25 out of the North/Northwest, and a shower is possible. Highs are forecast to be in the 50's.

The bite has been very tough. Most reports have the majority of that action up to Geanos, out of bounds for this event. There were reports of a few fish caught this week in prefish in the river and close by. It's going to be a grind out there.

The takeoff this morning was interesting with both the MWS and PMTT leaving from the same docks; the MWS had to delay for a half hour due to a fog bank that cleared at about 7 AM.

Stand by for up to date reports here as they come in!

PMTT Coverage is brought to you by St. Croix Rods and Mercury Marine!

What are the boundaries? Line from Little Tail or Long Tail or something different? Thanks.

The PMTT results (or lack thereof) speak for themselves because without a doubt Green Bay can be one super frustrating place to fish prior to the fall congregation. I think part of the problem with the PMTT is the increase in the amount of September fishermen the last few years.

There is also a local guide hyping every fish he catches to promote his business, for sure it's helped to attract a bunch talented muskie fisherman.  No matter how good you are it's hard to compete against 20 other boats on one small spot flinging double tens from sunrise to sunset.

Nice pictures Steve, captures the moment!
