Possibly looking at going to this lake next summer. Any opinions on overall muskie success here? Other partners are not necessarily afflicted by the muskie bug like myself and one other in our group so other species would be pursued as well. Went to Wabigoon a couple years ago and did ok....but guys didn't like the murky water too much there. Any opinions appreciated!

I've been on cliff. Lots and lots of fish. We saw 15 to 20 fish a day, major action lake. We boated around 20 for the week in my boat, the biggest being only 43. We did see a ton of low 40 class and a few higher 40s. It was very hot and sunny all week so who knows what would have happened under cloudy skies?

ehhh...tough lake to dig in on for a whole week. Despite being a 54" size limit lake there doesn't seem to be many big fish in there to be had....Also it is not a good walleye lake for Canadian standards so if you have guys looking to focus on other species they might be disappointed. Does not compare to LOTW or even Eagle in that regard

True! Not a ton of walleyes compare to some other lakes, but we did get a few nice ones mid day. A decent number of smallies and trout though. I would only suggest cliff if you want a lot of action from 30s and low 40 class fish. It was fun ,but I agree, not a trophy class lake overall.
