anybody else have issues with your terrova smacking the bow roller on your trailer when launching? i don't have a plate mounted underneath it. thinking i may have to.
already spent $150 having some replacement parts put on it because of this issue.

this is on a 2006 620vs.

Very common issue. I have to turn mine over when I launch. I have to turn the prop aft when I launch so it slides off the trailer. I had to mount it at an angle such that the head hangs over the side, but I had to balance it with hitting the winch tower. I happens.

Mine isn't on a plate. Just gotta find the sweet spot.

I had to buy replacement pieces for mine on one of the first few trips I took with it. When the launch is steep, the back of the boat floats up sooner and puts the trolling motor right on the roller. I have to unhook it by hand after the boat is floating to NOT hit the roller on some launches. I am taking note of which launches are shallow. The flatter the launch the better it is for me. I'm having a hard time finding the right slide plate for the Terrova. The Power Drive Auto Pilot I had last time had a nice long flat slide plate that I could slide the motor back out of the way while launching and back into place after in the water. I'll keep loking...just a low priority thing right now. Maybe a winter project.

I have the same issue with mine on a 07 620. Bad trailer design is what it falls on.

Keep the front 1/3 of your bunks out. No problems. I learned the hard way.

no problems pulling boat out of the water.. this happens when launching the boat. especially on steep launches. as was stated in an earlier post..poor trailer design for terrova's.
