Posts: 1289 Location: WI | I've had lots of different brands break. I think the #10 blade ones vibrate so much that they wear out faster, especially being trolled. I have yet to break one with a blade smaller than that, but I don't use those much.

I often troll them, and because of the lean profile they cut down to 15 feet without problems. Attachments ---------------- cisco2.jpg (60KB - 183 downloads)

If you can find a Trueglide spinnerbaits, they were made for trolling. They don't have twisted wire at the bend, that is where the arm usually snaps when trolled for a long time. The twist weakens the wire, so not twisting it makes a big difference.mplus they have a huge profile! I would also recommend any Muskie machinery spinner

Posts: 97 Location: Pickering, ON | Muskie Machinery Super Speed Trollers. I've beaten up Hawg Spins as well, and they have fared decently on longevity, all things considered. Rob Dey Spinnerbaits also have a good rep.
