was looking at pounders the other day and could only find the color i like in the shallow pounder. was just wondering how much shallower does the shallow pounder run compared to the regular if you worked both baits at the same pace?

shallow dawg seems to glide more and obviously sinks slower. i run both, and like the shallow better. If i want it to go deeper i just count it down longer. but i am able to use it over weeds, and stumps more effectively without getting hung up.

Could always simply add some bell sinker weights to the harness's front hook ring on the shallow dog to work it deeper too. Making it a two-in-one bait...

It comes down to working them faster or slower. I use them both.

Yup. This helps make them dive really headfirst also, which I personally like.
