| How many of you guys cancelled or postponed your trips up north due to high water temperatures? The lakes I enjoy fishing are all above 80 so even if I had the oportunity to go right now I think I would in good concious have to wait it out. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I haven't fished muskies in a couple weeks. Should be OK on a couple lakes tomorrow evening, rain and a front on the way. |

Location: MN | I drove all the way up (3.5 hrs) and didn't fish. Just too hot to ensure survival, not that you can ever be 100% sure. |

| I haven't fished for awhile in central minnesota. The musky leagues have been cancelled.
Hopefully, some rain will lower water temps soon and get things back to normal. |

Location: Minnesota | The out of state guides up here (northern MN) haven't been cancelling any trips as far as I have heard. I know some locals who have hung it up for a while. I haven't been out around here since the end of June so I don't know what the current temps are.
I was north of Kenora last week and had 80 degree surface temps one day up there so the heat is everywhere. The good thing is that the big lakes have a lot of cool water under the surface so as long as people are being smart about it, it might not be that big of a deal. |
