Posts: 50 Location: Hobart, Indiana | For smaller lures I like to throw the Suick Nightwalker and the Musky Jitterbug. For larger baits Musky Buster Super Humper. Was wondering what your favorite lures were and why?

Low Rider because I've caught a lot of muskies on it. The blades are just stapled into the wood body, and that fastening doesn't last.

Guest, you may want to try Tryant's Lola. It is very similar to the Low Rider, but looks like it is built to last. I'm anxious to try one, as I too have been fond of the Low Rider type bait. http://www.tyranttackleinc.com/pages/new-tyrant-lola.php

Posts: 304 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Weagle Baby- Why Not I use several topwaters. 1) large black pacemaker- tick --------- tick --------tick---------tick 2) Weagle if I am in an area where I know there is a fish. If fishing alone I can use the Weagle a little easier. I need to work with my boat control a little more when using them. 3) Top Walkers are great hooking topwater baits. 4) Dirty B - I like the wake it throws- Have not used it enough to place it higher in the rankings. good luck after the waters cool Steve

Posts: 572 | Elkman99 - 7/19/2012 7:30 AM the Lola is the lowrider. same bait just packaged in Tyrant Tackles packaging. The Lola is "Made with Tyrant’s high impact poly", not wood. The biggest complaint that others have had with the lowrider is the blades coming loose and falling out. Tyrant's Lola shouldn't have that problem. Lowrider is still a good bait. Tyrant's Lola is just an improvement to a good bait.

oic. I didn't know that. I can't remember all the details, I just know that There was something that went on behind the scenes with musky buster that ended up with Tilky selling some of their lures in his packages. Definitely agree, the new material should be awesome then.
