| I've heard a 57" was caught on the infamous "Dead Sea" a couple weeks ago. Is there any truth to this rumor?

| Krappie, I have not heard of a 57 off of there, but there have been some nice fish coming the last few weeks. Obviously the word has been getting out to, because there has been a fair amount of pressure on it lately. I was there Saturday, had one pick up a sucker (about 22 inch sausage) and drop it, don't know if the bait was too big or the fish just wasn't interested. By the looks of the weather you only have this week left, water temp when I left the lake Sunday night was 34.5. |

| Thanks Norm for the information. I'll have to keep searching and see if it's indeed a big fish story. I was tossing the idea about going out, but only if it's weather permitting. I heard it's suppose to get colder than all get out by the weekend. I might have to bust the ice and get some duck hunting in if that's the case.
Is it true that they are giving a weather forcast of a high in the low 30's and possibly teens at night next weekend?
Steve you get that buck yet? The big boys should be moving about pretty good by this week...especially if the weather is suppose to turn colder.

If you hear anything on the existence of that 57 inch behemoth please let me know. My boat has floated for the last time this year, whitetails beware!!! If you have any desire next year to fish the dead sea with me let me know, I usually have an empty seat a couple times a week. I'm sure there is a lot we could learn from each other. If you get out this weekend smoke a fatty. |

| Sounds like a plan for next year Norm. Would love to share a boat with ya. Good luck hunting this weekend and I'll keep you posted on what I hear. Hopefully, it's not going to be as cold as they say, or I'll be hanging it up for the year also.

| I asked my dad about this last night. He said there is no word around the lake about it as far as residents and talk at Lakeview Inn. He is goint to check some of the bait shops in the area to see if there is any word there. I'll let you know, if I find anything out.

Leaving the 300 acres at home alone for rifle season. I have been chasing a BIG boy up in the Sugar Camp area, and will continue to bother him until he moves on or I get him. Keith got a nice 7 from the same group, so we have him figured out, just gotta get within 50 yards.[8)] |
