I graduated college this spring and am working at a resort on lake vermilion this summer and living at my cabin but am getting a little tired of fishing by myself. If anybody wants a boat partner sometime let me know cause it will be a nice change of pace. I'll probably be here until something brings me back...like an actual job but that might be awhile still.

What resort are you working at, or where is your cabin - east or west?

Man,
Give me a pm. I am up quite often and know the West end very well. I just have not fished alot lately.
Water temps are getting to be a concern for me. I saw a floater on Saturday morning that was pretty well gone.
Water temps are right at that 80 degree mark right now. 82-83 later in the day and 79 in the am. We need some wind, rain and cooler weather very soon.
I expect someone at the resort to be very busy picking dead tulibees and whitefish off of shore in a matter of weeks.

Good Luck

MANvsFISH, I also fish by my self most of the time. I find that when I fish by my self I don't put much time in to fishing and end up back at the cabin working on it.
I am located in Daisy Bay and mostly fish big bay. It would be fun to fish with some guys from the lake. Your living my dream living on the lake for the summer! Does the resort have any job openings? I could sort minnows and crawlers. Good luck!

Cold front has moved through yet it is still 68 degrees at 5 am. Long range forecast calls for above normal temps throught August. Going to be a tough summer for stressed fish but on the bright side all of this years fry should grow really well. Heard of a floater on the east end also. JR
