Posts: 203 Location: Minnesota | Definitely wont leave home without one of either Walleye Pro Dawg or white-tailed walleye MTO/Keyes Custom Dawg... Fall time comes, I'll have a Mag and a Pounder in either color in my bag...

Posts: 203 Location: Minnesota | LOL Yep I use Pounders, just not as often as I use Mags... If that color I gave you was the best, why isnt MI making more of those colors??? And why were there plenty of those colors left over after last year's show??? MTO had quite a few left over for sale after the show...

Posts: 1456 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | I started throwing some pro dog pounders this year and was surprised they didn't run deeper....seems like mags run a bit deeper? Slowing retrieve helps, but I prefer a faster rip. Tried tuning to get them to 'nose down' a bit more, but with the coil inside that doesn't seem to work? Maybe I need to keep working on tuning\?

Seems like there was a thread on here saying the new Pounders were lighter. Is this the case? What I liked about the Pounder was how deep it got quickly and stayed deep all the way back to the boat. Posts: 1023 | Thanks guys. I will keep throwing it then. I have so much luck with my blue and white super d that I neglect my other colors.

Posts: 1456 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Hmmm...lighter than the older pounders makes sense, it seems the old one i lost did run nice and deep. Im thinking in that case it would be simple to cut a slit in the bottom, insert a bell sinker, and seal with a hot knife.
