| I cannot express enough how important it is that each of us contact our legislative representatives and talk to them about Muskies and Pike. Take a few minutes this summer when you see them at parades and out on their campaigns to talk to them. As well most of you know there is really no real fisherman in Minnesota politics; we have an opportunity to change this. Both Peter and Paul Perovich are running for their respective Senate districts and they need our help and support. These guys both are dedicated to Minnesota’s fishery and understand the issues we are having and will have with AIS, access, growing and protecting our fishery. Send them anything you can afford to; or volunteer some time, I understand politics is volatile and some may have party-liner issues but keep in mind there is plenty of party politics in the Capitol and no representation of your fishery. http://www.peterperovich.org/ http://perovichforsenate.org/ |
