| Curious if anyone has any insight into cost. I might pick up a ranger 680T with this motor on it. The boat needs a bit of TLC as it has been stored outside, but I think the motor outside of this is in good working order. I would have to drive cross country to get the boat, so I am trying to figure out if it is worth the effort. H |

Location: north central wisconsin | I'd say around $400 for rebuild at the right shop. That motor is bombproof. I have the 40 HP version of that, a 1984, with thousands of hours on it. Unless he really didn't take care of it at all, that motor should be money. |

| Thanks, the motor is great, just has not been run. The owner kept it in the water at a marina and never ran it and then pulled it out each fall to store. Thanks for the help. H |
