Heading up to the cabin (Tamohawk, WI area) on Fri. June 22nd for 6 days of muskies. Thought I might try some new water and have done some research on the Flambeau Flowage. Was hoping to get any additional info that anyone might be willing to share. Will I need to be concerned with water levels? Landings? Tips? Where does the 58 incher hang out and what will she bite on? yada yada yada. Thanks in advance from a strict catch and release fisherdrinker.

Springstead landing is best of the 5 available. Water levels are relatively good. Look for red cabbage. I divide it into about 6 sections. Pick one and fish it. You can waste a day out there motoring around looking for greener pastures.

Flambeau ski is spot on with his advice pick an area and fish it.
My advice is unless your on one of the lake basins or the Big Water go very slow.
Theres many things that love to eat lower units I've seen it happen many times.
Theres maps at the landings or if you have chartplotter get a chip with the TFF on
it while nothing is perfect it will help you.
That 58 incher you mentioned I've heard see resides near the power line bar.

The 58 incher hangs out by the eagle's nest, right by the old river channel:)
